Samsung to bring in-display fingerprint sensors to smart watches
Samsung is said to bring a fingerprint sensor that will be placed underneath the display with its Galaxy S10 in early 2019. But, the new reports suggest that the company might bring the tech to its wearables as well.
According to the latest patent filing, the company could be exploring ways to bring the fingerprint sensor into the display on its future smart watches.
Smart Watch Trivia :
A smart watch is a wearable computer in the form of a wristwatch; modern smartwatches provide a local touchscreen interface for daily use, while an associated smartphone app provides for management and telemetry (such as long-term biomonitoring).
While early models could perform basic tasks, such as calculations, digital time telling, translations, and game-playing, 2010s smart watches have more general functionality closer to smartphones, including mobile apps, a mobile operating system and WiFi/Bluetooth connectivity.
